(More customer reviews)I really like the functionality of the thermometer.Easy to program. Much better than some of the other thermometers that I have had, BUT the "cord / wire " breaks too easily.I have now bought two of these thermometers, I am extremely careful with the probe and especially careful not to put any pressure or bending at the wired end of the probe but both have fractured at this site.

I have other thermometers that I do not like as well functionally and they have a wired mess over the cord or a protective cover at the site where the probe ends and the wire begins.These have lasted forever. AND you cannot use a probe from a different thermometer.They are not interchangeable.

I would give this a 10 star if they coukld fix their probe/wire connection problem.
