You have to take a minute to look at the instructions-- some of you are not turning the timer off and that is why it runs out of batteries in a few weeks. It says to flip a battery around when you're not using it, pretty easy! And no generic, use brand name batteries!

Mine is great and big dinners come out perfect every time with no hassle.
