(More customer reviews)So far this timer has worked consistently...but I wish someone had told me that it consistently rings two minutes early before I used it for the first time!

Once I figured that out, though, I haven't had any problems with it.It's very heavy and durable, so while I'm not sure how useful the magnet in the base would be (I can just picture it sliding down the front of my fridge), I can't see it breaking easily.

I read another review that said theirs doesn't ring if it's set for less than 10 minutes.I haven't had any problem.It has a shorter ring, but it definitely goes off when it's supposed to (except for the two minute deal).

Really, can't beat the price.Now that I know to set the timer two minutes past when I want it to go off, I'm satisfied.If you get it, I'd just recommend running a timed trial before you actually rely on it since I obviously can't guarantee that all of them are going to be off the same way mine is.

I love the tone of the ring - it's very noticable, but not spine-twisting like many timers. It's bigger than I thought it would be, perhaps born from some monster stainless steel hen.

(More customer reviews)The timer finish bell randomly goes off briefly during the middle of the time you've set, and then usually doesn't go off at all once the timer's finished. That makes this pretty useless as a timer.

Sassafras The Little Cook Wobblie Timers Review

It has a loud-enough bell that is not obnoxious. I would recommend this product for someone who is looking to use for a child in the kitchen or for time goals for small tasks.

(More customer reviews)I bought this timer because it looked nice, and would fit in with my stainless steel kitchen. Like all mechanical timers, you have to turn it all the way to 60, then back to the desired time.
The bell is reasonably loud, but take it with you if you leave the kitchen.
On my timer, the magnet on the back is not strong enough to hold the timer on a vertical surface.
