(More customer reviews)I was a little worried about getting this because it looked too nice (like a PDA), was inexpensive, and had no reviews to back it up.

But the thermometer itself has worked great, is very accurate and quick to come to the right temperature (as good as my instant).I have regularly used it for the oven, in the grill, and on the rangetop w/o any problems.

The extra features on this unit are great as well.All the saved temperature settings for various types of meat are correct, and the pre-alert lets you take it out to rest before reaching the final temperature.There is also an extra setting which I used to program in the temperature for fish.

All in all, I highly recommend this unit, especially for the price.
