(More customer reviews)I bought this unit and used it one time in a smoker and everything worked perfectly. The next time I went to use it I found that the probe had failed. Replaced batteries and then checked probe with an ohmmeter and found it was open circuit. So it cost me $20 to cook one meal. My advice is to look elsewhere if you need a digital thermometer.
